Footballers Bow Out of Championship

Kilshannig's reign as North Cork Junior A Football champions came to an end last night (Sunday) following a disappointing semi final defeat to Charleville at Ballyclough. While Killian O'Hanlon goaled in the opening half, Charleville dominated for long periods and led at half time, 1-7 to 1-4. Kilshannig were unable to find any momentum while Charleville powered on in the second half to run out deserving 3-10 to 1-09 winners to book a final meeting with Buttevant or Ballyclough.
It was a disappointing way to end the year for Kilshannig, it just wasn't our night and we would like to thank all the players and management for their brilliant effort and commitment all year.
