Kilshannig continued their unbeaten run in the Division 2 Hurling League with a comprehensive victory over Mallow at Glantane on Sunday last. In wet and windy conditions, Kilshannig proved far too powerful for their visitors with a number of goals at key stages proving critical. They struck three in the opening period through Frank McCarthy, Denis Clogan and Killian O'Hanlon to lead 3-05 to 0-09 break. 

While Mallow provided a respite immediately after the restart with a close range goal, Kilshannig resumed control once more with two goals from Killian O'Hanlon in quick succession completing his hat trick. With Liam Casey excellent in defence and Joseph Cronin and Conor Casey performing admirably too there was little doubt to the result as Kilshannig eased to a second win of the campaign.
