Kilshannig and Kilworth were forced to settle for a share of the points following their Division 2 Hurling League clash at Glantane on Sunday. While a draw was a fair result, both sides will feel disappointed that they did not come away with victory. Kilshannig led for most of the encounter but a Kilworth goal in injury looked like snatching victory for the visitors. However, Kilshannig replied with the outstanding Killian O'Hanlon pointing a late free to secure a draw. O'Hanlon was in excellent form throughout, scoring all bar one of Kilshannig's scores. His goal midway through the opening half helped his side into a 1-08 to 0-08 half time lead. While Kilworth managed to draw level in the second period, Kilshannig moved four ahead entering the closing stages. They were unable to see out the game though as Kilworth responded once more and with the aid of that late goal, there was no separating the sides.
