Kilshannig GAA AGM

Kilshannig GAA Club's AGM was held recently at the complex, Glantane with a large crowd in attendance. 2016 was a busy year for the club and in his address Chairman Denis O'Hanlon thanked everyone for all the hard work and effort put in throughout the year, on and off the field. It was a successful year for the club in terms of silverware. The adult teams captured both hurling and football league titles while at underage level, there was huge success with a number of North Cork titles won along with three county titles. The chairman thanked everyone involved in these successes who made it all possible and paid a special tribute to both the juvenile club and Kilshannig Ladies Football Club who both had two very successful years. 2016 also saw the reopening of our main pitch after a couple of years of major development with a lighting system expected for the coming year. As the chairman was in the final year of his term, he thanked all those who assisted him over the past three years. Secretary Brian Quinn and Treasurer Noel Ryan both presented very detailed reports. The club is in a very healthy state as far as finances are concerned heading into 2017.
