U16 Footballers Qualify for County Final

Well done to our U16 Footballers who qualified for the County U16 Premier 2 Football Championship Final following a thrilling 3-09 to 3-05 over St.Finbarr's at Mallow on Monday night. While Kilshannig got off to a great start leading 2-2 to no score after 10 minutes, St.Finbarr's came storming back into the contest to leave just one between the teams at half time, 2-4 to 2-3. The Barrs though added a third goal after the break to lead for the first time. However, ten minutes from the end came the turning point, Kilshannig retaking the lead with their third goal of the night. They added a further two points in the final minutes to secure a brilliant victory and set up a final meeting with Carbery Rangers. Well done lads.
