Kilshannig's preparations for the opening round of the Junior Football Championship continued with a win over Ballyclough in the Division 1 Football League on Tuesday evening. It was the home side who held the advantage at the break leading 1-8 to 0-7. However, a strong second half performance turned the game around for Kilshannig to run out deserving 1-17 to 1-10 winners.
Kilshannig's final league game before the championship takes place this Friday night (29th April) with a home clash against Grange. Throw in at 7.30pm in Glantane.
The championship vs Mallow has been fixed for Saturday, 7th May in Mourneabbey at 7.15pm. Best of luck to the lads over the next few weeks and please support.
